The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will get tired of tiptoeing around the issue with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), so she’ll decide to just come right out and ask what her intentions are.
Sharon will quiz Summer about her feelings for Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and whether they might be more than friendly.
Once Sharon puts her on the spot, Summer may admit that what she feels for Chance is more than platonic.
It’s not like Summer planned on feeling this way, so she may admit she’s falling for Chance and suggest it’s just something that happened.
Of course, Summer will also want to know where Sharon stands when it comes to her own feelings for Chance.
That’s why Summer will ask if Sharon’s in love, but Chance may come along before Sharon has an opportunity to fully answer.
Sharon and Summer will question each other on Y&R’s January 3 episode, which will be followed by Chance’s admission to Sharon on January 4.
It seems likely Chance will derail this tense conversation and realize he needs to clear things up.
Chance will confess something to Sharon, so there are a few ways this storyline could go.
It’s possible Chance will admit he has feelings for Summer, but there’s no denying that he has feelings for Sharon, too.
Chance might confess that he’s falling for both of them and acknowledge that it’s complicated.
Then again, Chance’s confession might involve the recent concert if he hasn’t told Sharon about giving Summer his extra ticket.
That could set off some alarm bells for Sharon about how close Chance and Summer are getting.
A third possibility might be if Chance throws Sharon a curveball and admits he doesn’t want Summer at all – at least not in a more than friendly context.
Chance might confess that he’s falling in love with Sharon and push for a committed relationship between them.
Whatever the case, Chance will indeed make a confession of some sort, which will inevitably affect his love triangle with Sharon and Summer.
In fact, this will set the stage for the standalone Sharon-centric episode that’ll air on January 5, so Sharon will have a lot to mull over when it comes to her love life and her professional life, too.
