The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) could be pulled closer to a new woman. Will Chance and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) eventually face some hot temptation?
Summer is currently married to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but their relationship is crumbling right before their eyes.
Once Kyle turns to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) in his time of crisis, it could push Summer down a new path, too.
Chance and Summer have been sharing a lot of scenes lately, so this could be laying the groundwork for them to hook up or even become a real couple.
Many fans are enjoying the chemistry between Summer and Chance, even if things are a bit tense due to the circumstances surrounding Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) right now.
Conner Floyd recently did a Y&R Mini Spotlight interview with James Lott Jr. and offered some interesting hints about what might be in store.
Floyd pointed out that Chance has a soft spot for Summer and then questioned why.
The Y&R star suggested that maybe Summer reminds Chance of Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) or “there’s something with the baby and the family drama.”
Of course, we have to take a closer look at that comment and consider the meaning behind it. Is there a simple explanation or did Floyd leak big news?
Since Floyd played a long baby storyline featuring Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware), Dom may be the “baby” he was referring to.
Summer has become a mother to Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez), so maybe there’s some link that Floyd was trying to make from a parenting perspective.
On the other hand, it’s possible Floyd was hinting about some new baby drama if Summer is about to find out she’s pregnant.
It wouldn’t make sense for Summer to have conceived when she’s been shutting Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) out and seemingly sleeping apart from him, but a rewrite could change that.
It’d be easy to act like Summer and Kyle tried to make it work with a night or two of passion at some point in the midst of all the chaos.
Then again, maybe the baby drama could come through Kyle’s fling with Audra if she ends up with his bun in the oven.
Regardless, it was interesting that Conner Floyd mentioned “something with the baby” in his interview.
It’s at least something to mull over as fans wait to see what’ll play out in the months ahead.
