The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) budding romance could hit a huge snag. Since Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) is returning to Genoa City for Y&R’s 50th anniversary, this could be the perfect time for Chance’s mom to meddle.
Nina could easily catch a glimpse of a warm moment between Chance and Sharon. It could lead to Nina quizzing one or both of them about what exactly is going on.
Of course, Sharon and Chance are just friends for now, but they could be on the verge of becoming much more.
The last time fans saw Chance and Sharon bonding at the coffeehouse, things certainly seemed to be headed in a romantic direction.
Nina could easily get updates on the little two-person supper club that Chance and Sharon have started up.
Perhaps Chance will also talk about how much Sharon has helped him in the aftermath of his divorce from Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway).
Nina may be able to pick up on the fact that Chance has more than friendly feelings for Sharon. The question is: How will Nina feel about that?
Sharon and Chance’s romance has been building without any real drama standing in the way, so Nina’s comeback could offer a new challenge.
Chance might have to convince his mom to butt out if she tries to act like Sharon isn’t a good match.
There was a time when Chance and Abby were quite happy together, so Nina may hold out hope that they can get back to a good place in their relationship.
It’s easy to imagine Nina pushing Chance to give things another shot with Abby, especially since Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) family is at stake.
However, Abby and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) are already building another family unit with Dominic, so Chance may insist his own ship with Abby has sailed.
Chance feels like Abby is much better suited to a guy like Devon, so he may urge Nina to let go of any reunion dreams and accept his new path with Sharon.
Whether Sharon becomes Chance’s date for the bicentennial gala or not, they could hit the dance floor together for a great night.
