The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will continue to impress Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as she dives right in at Newman Media. Claire promised she wouldn’t let Nikki down in her new assistant role, so she’ll hit the ground running and prove Nikki made the right decision.
However, Claire’s attempt to prove herself to Nikki won’t go over well with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
It looks like Audra will go into self-preservation mode, so she probably won’t want Claire thinking she can butter Nikki up and get handed the COO spot.
During the week of October 9-13, Y&R spoilers say Audra will hope to get a few things straight with Claire.
That means Audra will warn Claire about some rules she’d like to establish, but she may not get the response she expects.
Claire could easily argue that Nikki is her boss and the one she really has to worry about pleasing.
Since Claire seemed so sweet during her interview, it’d be great to see her drop the façade a bit and let the claws come out with Audra.
Perhaps Claire already has her sights set on Audra’s job – and if that’s true, Audra’s decision to revive her romance with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) could give Claire a strategy to get what she wants.
Audra will listen to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and tempt Kyle with more bedroom romps, but this won’t be about her romantic feelings.
Instead, it’ll be about Tucker’s shady motives and attempt to go after the Abbotts.
Kyle will become a pawn in Audra and Tucker’s game, but there could be a threat on the horizon.
Since it sounds like Audra may make an enemy out of Claire, the latter might uncover some shocking information and deliver the news to Nikki.
What if Claire finds out Kyle and Audra have restarted their fling against Nikki’s wishes?
Claire might make a beeline to Nikki so that she can rat Audra out and earn some points.
It could also result in a speedy promotion if Claire can impress Nikki enough between now and then.
Regardless, Claire might witness a passionate moment between Audra and Kyle at some point.
That could lead to Claire blabbing to Nikki if he realizes Audra’s disobeying her direct orders.
