The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) seemed rather charmed by Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) after their cute encounter at the office. Although Nate didn’t cross any lines, he seemed curious about Claire – and she was eager to get to know him as well.
Claire seems a little too obsessed with everyone at Newman and has certainly done her research when it comes to all the key players.
The show keeps highlighting all these “fan girl” moments for Claire, who may have ulterior motives when it comes to her so-called dream job.
If Claire’s secretly working for someone else as a mole, that could certainly affect her goals.
On the other hand, maybe Claire is a little off her rocker and dealing with some sort of bizarre Newman fixation.
Either way, Claire’s interaction with Nate in the October 16 episode was interesting.
It’s easy to see how Nate and Claire might develop a stronger bond, which could lead to flirting and so much more.
Y&R fans know Nate is a serial cheater, so it’s tough to believe he’ll stay loyal to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) forever.
Since Nate’s betrayal may be inevitable, perhaps Claire could become the person he goes to bed with next.
If that’s the case, Nate might regret surrendering to temptation in the aftermath – especially since this could affect his job.
Claire would be risking her own job too, but she might realize Nate has far more to lose than her.
This could turn into a situation where Claire tries to blackmail Nate and get some help climbing the corporate ladder.
Then again, Claire might have other goals if she’s secretly working for a Newman enemy.
Maybe Claire has been ordered to earn everybody’s trust at the company and then tear them down one by one.
There’s even a chance Claire’s keeping an eye on things for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) himself – and if that’s true, she might prove Nate’s disloyal to Victoria and earn Victor’s approval for that.
Regardless, Claire surely has an agenda and that could play a role in what happens next with Nate. Do you think Nate and Claire might hook up eventually?
