The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) could take more steps toward a united family. It was hard for Abby to move on from her marriage to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), but she’s accepted their divorce at this point.
Now that Devon and Abby have made love again, they’re feeling even more connected. There’s just something about their bond that leaves both Abby and Devon feeling safe in each other’s arms.
Of course, Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) is a huge part of why Abby and Devon are so in sync.
Whenever Devon talks about Dominic with such love in his heart, Abby can’t help but feel like things are falling into place.
Devon also feels that same sense of uncomplicated security and adores Abby for being such a wonderful mother to Dom.
Y&R fans know being co-parents has changed Devon and Abby’s relationship in a big way.
There’s nothing Abby and Devon love more than being Dominic’s mom and dad.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will always remain in Dom’s life as a bonus daddy, but Devon felt more connected to Dominic from the get-go.
Dom is growing up fast, so perhaps we should start thinking about this family’s future. Would Abby ever consider having more children with Devon?
That might be a question Abby’s forced to ask herself in the coming months.
There’s a good chance Abby will move in with Devon sooner or later – and they’ll presumably make their couple status official, too.
Devon may think they can be more than co-parents and raise a united family – complete with a new little brother or sister for Dominic.
Although Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) probably wouldn’t be on board with another surrogacy under the circumstances, Devon and Abby have plenty of money to hire a perfectly suitable replacement.
Devon has major business drama coming up and will clash with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) like never before.
Spending time with Abby and Dom will become a much-needed haven for Devon, so he may hope to make some updates to their happy fam with a new member.
Could some family expansion news be brewing? Will Abby and Devon use a surrogate to welcome a sibling for Dominic?
