The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) needs to stop taking the high road. Back in May, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) asked if Elena would go after revenge on Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), but Elena suggested she’d just sit back and let things blow up on their own.
However, it’d be far more entertaining if Elena came up with a plot to rush that process along.
At Audra’s urging, Elena previously considered bringing J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) back to get Victoria’s attention, but maybe that was the wrong strategy.
There’s someone else that Elena needs to summon if she decides she wants to work a different angle and get revenge after all.
Y&R fans will recall that Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) once had her eye on Nate and schemed to make him her man.
If anyone’s going to blow up Victoria and Nate’s romance, it should really be Imani!
It’d be great if Imani could get updates on Nate’s breakup with Elena and decide to strike while his relationship with Victoria is still new.
Imani might realize Nate is becoming more like her since he’s so fierce about his career and goes after what he wants.
This version of Nate would be even more appealing to Imani, so she might take her opportunity to pounce.
Of course, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and her sister have been worried about their mom’s health issues, but maybe Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) is doing better by now.
If so, maybe Imani could tear herself away from all the family medical drama and focus on her love life again.
It’d be fun if Elena somehow summoned Imani and used her to ruin Nate’s happiness with Victoria.
Knowing Nate’s track record with cheating, he could easily fall into bed with Imani and break Victoria’s heart in the process.
Nate would surely get dumped and fired if that happened, but then Imani might find some other hunk to chase and ignore Nate to focus on her next conquest – which would leave Nate with nothing!
Elena has a chance at real satisfaction if she recruits Imani and sets the stage for a romantic explosion.
