The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) is desperate to track down EMT Carson (Walter Belenky) and potentially use him to bolster Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) case.
Of course, there are concerns since Carson is wanted for crimes of his own, which doesn’t make him a very credible witness.
There’s also the question of whether Carson can even be found since he disappeared after helping Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) with the plan to fake Phyllis’ death.
However, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has agreed to put his people to work and see if he can find EMT Carson for Summer’s sake.
Although Victor would prefer if Phyllis stayed on the run forever, that’d break Summer’s heart – and Victor can’t watch his granddaughter suffer.
Now that Victor’s private investigators are going to be looking into Carson’s whereabouts, it’s only a matter of time until they find him.
With that in mind, Y&R has the opportunity for a grim twist that could change everything for Phyllis.
What if EMT Carson’s dead body is found decomposing somewhere?
Instead of a living witness who can corroborate Phyllis’ story, she might actually score something better. Perhaps Phyllis will end up with ghastly proof of just how dangerous Stark was.
After all, both Phyllis and Jeremy could tell how spooked Carson was after his role in the faked death plot was done.
Stark might’ve followed the guy and killed him without Phyllis knowing – just to make sure Carson wouldn’t be a problem later.
Then again, maybe someone else on Jeremy’s payroll did the deed for him.
If there’s evidence that Stark killed Carson or hired a hit on him, that’d go a long way toward proving Phyllis had reason to be fearful.
Phyllis was Jeremy’s accomplice just like Carson was his accomplice.
If Carson is revealed to be dead, then Phyllis can argue she would’ve wound up dead too if she hadn’t killed Stark in self-defense.
In other words, maybe EMT Carson could bolster Phyllis’ case in a completely different way and give her an even better shot at beating the Jeremy murder charges.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will get updates on Carson’s location eventually, but will that bring some deadly news?
