The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, October 13, reveal that something miraculous will happen in Genoa City. Y&R fans know Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) considers Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to be an untrustworthy outsider, but she’ll actually find common ground with him for once.
That doesn’t mean Victoria will throw all her concerns out the window and suddenly develop a wonderful brother-sister bond with Adam.
However, it does mean Victoria will at least try not to think the worst of Adam just this once. There’s no guarantee this truce will last, but it seems like Victoria will give Adam more of a chance than usual.
That may have something to do with Victoria’s fears about Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) declining mental state.
Victoria may get updates on Victor calling Adam by the name “Nicholas” and assume this is just another example of their father’s troubling behavior lately.
Although Victoria’s motives are selfish on some level since she’d like to reclaim the throne, she also appears to be growing genuinely concerned for Victor’s well-being.
This may be something Adam can get on the same page with Victoria about.
It looks like Victoria and Adam might strike a deal, so they may decide to keep each other in the loop on any other disturbing warning signs.
Of course, Adam and Victoria won’t have the whole story since Victor is actually faking his erratic moves and blunders.
Victor may want to bring his children together while simultaneously finding out whether they’d use something like this against him or fight to help him.
Whatever the case, Victor will confess his agenda to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and most likely leave her fearing a plot like this is too cruel.
Nevertheless, Nikki may agree to keep quiet while Victor uses his faux mental decline to put his kids to the ultimate test.
As for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he’ll keep a promise he made to Victoria and check in with their dad.
Victor might have a fake slipup with Nick too and try to offer clues that he’s mentally unfit.
During this conversation, Victor might also sense that Nick’s upset about something, so we’ll see if Nick comes clean about his Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) breakup news.
Regardless, Nick will manage to bond with Victor again on Friday’s episode, so this could potentially lead to him coming back to Newman Enterprises sooner or later.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will keep working toward family unity, to stay tuned to see what’s in store for the Newmans.
