The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, October 20, reveal that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will be on a mission for the real story. Since Jill doesn’t trust Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) and knows her old rival must have some ulterior motives, she’ll do some digging and try to uncover the truth.
Jill will hope she can find some dirt and perhaps gain the upper hand on Mamie.
It’s clear that Jill doesn’t like to get blindsided or feel like she’s a step behind, so she’ll work to turn the tables on Mamie if she can.
Meanwhile, Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) will put Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) through a grilling session.
Nate may admit he met with Mamie alone, so that could set off alarm bells for Devon and make him worry about them plotting together.
Mamie went about this whole thing in such a shady way, so Devon will remain on edge over her investment.
Although Nate will insist Mamie’s priority is repairing the family damage, Devon may contend that it’ll take more than Mamie’s wishful thinking to make that happen.
You can bet there’ll be more tension between Nate and Devon, so Mamie’s dream will have to wait!
Despite Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) denial about his Mamie link, Devon should continue to struggle with suspicions about that as well.
There’s a lot of distrust and unrest going on now that Mamie’s made an underhanded move while claiming her heart’s in the right place.
Of course, pushing Jill out of the picture is one of Mamie’s goals.
Mamie told Nate that Jill would lose interest on her own, but it seems likely Mamie will move forward with a plan to speed things along.
Other Y&R spoilers hint that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will find a way to strike back, so it’s probably just a matter of how exactly she’ll target Tucker and how sneaky she’ll be about it.
Finally, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will seek revenge on an enemy, so will he uncover the traitor he’s been seeking at Newman Enterprises or retaliate against an outside foe instead?
Either way, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will hope to even the score, so stay tuned for updates on the troubling news that’s brewing.
