The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Hayley Erin will return to the CBS soap, but she’ll be playing a brand-new role when she shows up this fall. Viewers may recall that Erin portrayed Abby Newman-Abbott (now played by Melissa Ordway) from 2008-2010, so she’s no stranger to Genoa City.
Erin went on to play Kiki Jerome on General Hospital from 2015-2019, but now she’s rejoining Y&R as a new character named Claire Grace.
SOD reports that Erin will first appear as Claire this autumn when she goes to work at Newman Media.
That lines up with fall preview info about Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) taking a rising corporate star under her wing.
Nikki’s going to be a mentor to a stellar new employee, so now we know that it’ll be Claire Grace who impresses the boss and learns from her at Newman Media.
Of course, fans will be eager to see if Claire might find love in GC as well.

There’ll be plenty of romantic possibilities once Claire makes her fall debut, so we’ll be sure to give you updates as more details emerge.
Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland) is friends with Hayley Erin in real life, so she seems thrilled about Erin’s new role.
Grimes even wrote a fun welcome message for Erin on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
“Did I manifest this?! Who knows! But magic can’t be denied and having @HayleyErin join us is a dream come true.
We get a talented cast member AND my friend back stateside?? Please and thank you! Congrats my love,” Grimes said in her post.
Let’s hope that Grimes and Erin will eventually share scenes together once Claire shows up in Genoa City for some new storylines.
