The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) prediction could come true. In Y&R’s July 11 episode, Tucker suggests to Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) that they should get Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) off the hook and point her in Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) direction so that she can get forgiveness.
Of course, the goal here is to rile Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) up and get her to self-sabotage.
Phyllis’ freedom and very presence in Genoa City will be enough to get under Diane’s skin, but can you imagine how livid she’ll be if Jack forgives her?
Phyllis is the reason Diane landed in jail – not to mention she’s the reason Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) marriage to Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) fell apart.
Forgiveness won’t happen overnight, but it’s not completely out of the realm of possibility either.
Although Phyllis will obviously have a lot of work to do before that happens, Tucker has faith that she can get the job done.
Jack forgave Diane for her own past mistakes, so Phyllis might convince him to find forgiveness in his heart for her, too. If so, Diane will no doubt fly into a rage!
This is the kind of thing that could become a deal-breaker for Diane and Jack.
If Jack does the unthinkable in Diane’s eyes and decides he’s willing to get past Phyllis’ horrible actions, it could be the beginning of the end when it comes to his current relationship.
As we’ve seen in Jack’s storyline with Diane, forgiveness is often the first soapy step to a romantic reunion.
That could easily be the case with Jack and Phyllis too if Tucker’s right about Phyllis being able to convince Jack to forgive her.
Will Jack make some shocking love life updates down the road? Could Jack get over what Phyllis did to Diane at some point and reunite with her romantically?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tucker and Ashley’s plot could mean bad news for Diane’s marriage dreams, so stay tuned to see if she’ll lose Jack and everything that truly matters to her.
