The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will come face to face with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) during the week of July 24-28. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) already had her own awkward reunion with Phyllis, which brought phony civility for both of them.
Jack, on the other hand, may not be willing to hold anything back. This could be Jack’s big chance to unleash all his fury and let Phyllis know what he really thinks of her.
Phyllis needs to get Jack’s forgiveness as part of Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) plan – though deep down, that’s something Phyllis wants for herself, too.
Since part of Phyllis will always love Jack, she’ll hate the thought of him permanently shutting her out and will hope for better news.
Phyllis knows she has a lot to make up for and plans to make amends with her children, but Jack and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are on the forgiveness plea list as well.
Once Phyllis apparently runs into Jack somewhere in town, she’ll hope they can have a private conversation.
Phyllis will want an opportunity to show remorse and prove to Jack that she’s a changed woman – just like Diane is.
Of course, Jack may think Phyllis has got a lot of nerve even approaching him, especially with a plea for forgiveness.
Although Jack has a huge heart, he may not think forgiveness is ever going to be a possibility on his end.
Y&R fans will recall how Jack stood up and made a powerful speech at Phyllis’ memorial.
Jack might think back to that day and rip into Phyllis for cruelly letting her loved ones think she was gone forever.
Plus, Phyllis forced Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) into a situation that made it impossible to keep her marriage on solid ground.
Now that Summer and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) have split, Jack may put Phyllis on full blast over her selfish behavior and warn her to stay away from Diane from now on.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis may have to work a lot harder if she wants forgiveness to be a real possibility, so stay tuned for updates on what’s next.
