The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that two frenemies will unite against a threat to Genoa City, so Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) should watch his back! Y&R fans know Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) have had their fair share of issues over the decades, so that’s led to major rivalries and plots against each other.
However, Victor and Jack have managed to find common ground in recent years as well.
Both Jack and Victor can agree on family being the most important thing, so they don’t take kindly to outsiders who put their loved ones at risk.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) marriage has merged the Abbott and Newman clans, so the patriarchs will have a reason to join forces against a mutual adversary.
Naturally, we’re talking about Jeremy, who now claims to be Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) husband and has the marriage license to prove it.
Jeremy put on quite the doting husband act after Phyllis collapsed, but her missing ambulance will lead to an explosion that seemingly kills her during the week of April 3-7.
Phyllis will fake her death with Jeremy’s help and frame Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for poisoning her before the fiery ambulance drama.
Jeremy might even make it look like Diane arranged the crash, too.
Of course, Jack will hopefully realize all the chaos happening after Jeremy’s sudden marriage to Phyllis isn’t a coincidence.
This will surely leave Jack smelling a rat named Jeremy – and Victor may feel the same way once he gets updates on the latest facts of the case.
Jack knows Jeremy pickpocketed Diane’s engagement ring off him before that ring ended up in Phyllis’ hand.
Jeremy will use that as part of the frame-up, but it should also prove to Jack that Jeremy planned a trap.
Nevertheless, the part about Phyllis dying should seem quite real to Jack, Victor and everyone else in Genoa City – including a crushed Summer.
Victor certainly isn’t Phyllis’ biggest fan, but he’ll be furious if he believes Jeremy killed Summer’s mom and tried to pin it on Diane.
The same goes for Jack, who cares about Summer and will always have a little love left in his heart for Phyllis.
Jack doesn’t like the choices Phyllis has been making lately, but he can’t forget their history or all the time he spent with deep feelings for her.
Plus, Jack has fallen in love with Diane and won’t want to see her go down for a crime she didn’t commit.
Y&R spoilers say Jack and Victor will team up, so they’ll probably be on a mission to bring Jeremy down.
Perhaps Victor and Jack will hope to get Jeremy arrested or take him out in a more permanent way if need be.
Will Jack and Victor be able to eliminate their mutual enemy or will Jeremy escape before they have the chance?
