The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) may make a bold move to show Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) that he’s in this for the long haul. Diane has been concerned about making long-term plans since she’s wary of the rug being pulled out from under them.
However, Jack recently insisted he could make grand plans for the both of them – though he ultimately coaxed Diane into making a few of her own.
Slowly but surely, Jack is starting to convince Diane that they have a shot at long-lasting happiness.
Of course, this is a soap – and that means another round of drama is always just around the corner.
There’ll be threats coming at Jack and Diane from multiple angles soon, so let’s talk about those.
For starters, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) won’t give up on going after Diane with a brand-new ally, so Diane had better be ready.
Plus, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will find some way to back Diane into a corner during February sweeps.
There’s also vengeful Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) return to worry about since it’s happening during the week of February 13-17.
It’s clear that there’ll be no shortage of naysayers and enemies to contend with in the coming episodes.
Diane may feel like her relationship with Jack is doomed and try to push him away. It could leave Diane thinking the universe is telling her that she doesn’t deserve Jack or their second chance.
If doubts creep in for Diane again and lead to her pulling back, Jack might take drastic action.
Although Jack previously suggested they could take their time, he may come to realize he doesn’t want to wait on the next step.
Jack has fallen hard for Diane and could offer an engagement ring to prove it soon enough.
A marriage proposal could be Jack’s way of showing Diane that he’s all in – no matter what chaos the world throws at them.
Despite all the threats that’ll be spiraling out of control, Jack may insist he wants to make Diane his wife and push her to say yes.
