After Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) decides to be part of the scheme, Jeremy will feel like he’s got a great secret weapon.
There’s nobody who hates Diane more than Phyllis, so she’ll be an excellent team player for Jeremy.
Unfortunately, Phyllis doesn’t seem to understand the gravity of the situation and who she’s dealing with here.
Jeremy is a dangerous criminal who’s about to add even more crimes to his rap sheet.
Phyllis will undoubtedly be committing some crimes of her own – and the latest spoilers confirm this decision isn’t going to work out well for her.
After Phyllis figures out where Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) are staying through Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) delivery to the cabin, she’ll text Jeremy about her discovery.
Jeremy will naturally want Phyllis to supply the address, but Phyllis will take a moment to revaluate her involvement.
It may feel like a big moment where Phyllis officially gets in deep with Jeremy – and if he goes down, she could go down, too!
Nevertheless, it looks like Phyllis will indeed alert Jeremy to Jack and Diane’s whereabouts.
Phyllis will be part of a very risky game and may not like the consequences that are brewing.
In the new issue of SOD, Y&R Head Writer and Executive Producer Josh Griffith revealed that Phyllis doesn’t know the situation’s about to “blow up in her face.”
That “blow up” clue could be interesting if things literally blow up! What if Griffith was hinting about an actual explosion?
Jeremy may go rogue and do something even worse than Phyllis expects – like try to blow up the cabin with both Diane and Jack inside.
Even if Jack and Diane manage to escape unscathed beforehand, Phyllis could get in major trouble if it comes out she was tied to this at all.
Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) would be especially furious, so her relationship with Phyllis could sink to a new low.
On the other hand, Jeremy might save this explosion plot for the bicentennial party happening by the end of the month.
Y&R’s celebrating their 50th anniversary, so they’ll surely want to do that with a bang!
Could a bomb go off and shake up this event? That’s another option to consider since Diane and Jack plan to stop hiding from Jeremy soon.
Jack and Diane will surely end up at this bash together, which could give Jeremy the perfect chance to strike – even if it puts others in jeopardy in the process.
