The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will want revenge following his arrest in the Chicago burglary he didn’t commit. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) decision to frame Jeremy could come back to bite them both in a big way.
Jeremy hasn’t exactly been a menacing character so far, but that’s only because he’s been trying to avoid landing in prison again.
Now that Jack and Diane have made a move to put Jeremy back behind bars, he’ll certainly be more willing to show off his sinister side.
Y&R has repeatedly told fans how dangerous Jeremy is, but now it’s time to show fans, too.
Jeremy needs to do something truly dangerous and reprehensible for us to buy him as the risky villain they claim he is.
There’s a good chance Jeremy is going to wiggle out of the charges since James Hyde should be sticking around for a while longer.
That could leave Jeremy free to go after Diane, Jack and the people they care most about, which could lead to tragic news.
Of course, Jeremy might want to hire someone else to do his dirty work to avoid another run-in with the law.
Regardless of whether Jeremy plans to pull the trigger himself or hire a hit, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) could become a deadly target.
Since Jeremy will want both Jack and Diane to pay for their actions, going after their son makes sense.
Naturally, Jeremy could also target Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) for a ransom plot if he avoids jail and wants money.
However, that might not be enough to satisfy Jeremy’s deep desire for vengeance.
It’s hard to imagine Jeremy wanting to harm a child since Y&R usually doesn’t let baddies be quite that ruthless.
The better option would be hiring a hit on Kyle and showing Diane there can be permanent consequences when you cross the line.
The same goes for Jack, who’s become Diane’s protector and has landed on Jeremy’s bad side as a result.
Now that Jack and Diane have framed Jeremy for stealing from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Jeremy might decide to steal their son from them forever!
Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) has been terrified about the danger Diane has brought to her family, so what if Jeremy nearly makes her a widow?
Maybe Jeremy could launch a hospital crisis after Kyle nearly gets killed because of Diane and her criminal messes.
Kyle would undoubtedly survive Jeremy’s potential murder attempt, but the show could still play up the drama of his vengeful scheme.
