The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is starting to face the reality of his divorce decision now that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has dumped him. This has no doubt been a wakeup call for Kyle, who still loves Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) deep down.
Of course, Kyle had no qualms about hopping right into bed with Audra and didn’t care whether it hurt Summer. That’s why Summer shouldn’t care whether Kyle gets hurt by whatever romantic decisions she makes moving forward.
Kyle was the one who insisted they should head down separate paths – and now Summer finds herself interested in Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
Summer isn’t ready to dive headfirst into a relationship, but she still wishes Chance were single – and he could be soon!
Based on all the looks they’ve been giving each other and all the sweet scenes they’ve shared, Chance and Summer are surely headed into sizzling territory sooner or later.
Whether that happens before or after Chance’s romance with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) ends, the stage has been set for him to land in bed with Summer eventually.
Once that happens, it’ll just be a matter of time until Kyle finds out Summer has moved on.
Perhaps Kyle will have an epiphany and realize he has to fight for Summer, which could bring him to the door of her suite.
Imagine Kyle’s surprise if he finds that door unlocked and walks in on Summer in bed with Chance!
Y&R fans will recall how awkward it was for Chance when he joined Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) in catching Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) during a passionate moment.
Now Chance could wind up on the other side of a similar situation if Kyle spots him enjoying some bedroom passion with Summer.
Naturally, this scenario would be a little different since Summer’s entitled to sleep with anyone she wants. Kyle would simply be a jealous ex in this case, but it’d give him a taste of his own medicine!
Since Kyle practically threw his hookups with Audra in Summer’s face, it’d serve him right to have a front-row seat to Summer moving on with Chance.
Summer’s on the verge of making some updates to her love life, so Kyle should be prepared for some pain.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle and Summer might find their way back together down the road, but difficult news is brewing for Kyle in the meantime.
