The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may be willing to do Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) dirty work if it means getting Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) out of his family’s company.
Kyle wasn’t happy when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) hired Adam as his replacement at Jabot.
Adam slid in the co-CEO spot, but Kyle has always treated him like an outsider.
Of course, that’s because Kyle doesn’t believe Adam belongs at Jabot – and Victor doesn’t believe he belongs there either.
It looks like Victor and Kyle will partner up to get Adam away from his current job.
Y&R spoilers say Victor’s goal will be to lure Adam back to Newman Enterprises, but he’ll want to set Adam up for a big fall to humble him first.
That’s where Kyle may come in since he’s in the prime position to set Adam’s trap.
Naturally, Kyle would never truly put Jabot at risk, but he could still frame Adam for a costly company blunder.
Perhaps Kyle will plant some phony paperwork at the office or files on Adam’s computer.
It could be similar to when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) tried to sabotage Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) at Marchetti.
Kyle would be taking a huge gamble by plotting against Adam like this, especially since Jack considers Adam a friend and asset to the company.
Nevertheless, Kyle might believe the reward will outweigh the risk he’s taking.
Victor will apparently count on Kyle to make Adam look like a total failure, which should be pretty easy to pull off.
Jack could get updates on some terrible news with Kyle working behind the scenes on Adam’s setup.
Perhaps Kyle could pretend to stumble across some error that would cost Jabot tons of money.
Kyle could play the hero and act like he’s proving Adam’s work is beyond sloppy.
Naturally, it’d have to be a pretty epic failure to get Adam fired, but Kyle could always repeat the steps as needed.
The point is Kyle will sabotage Adam on Victor’s orders and dupe Jack into giving Adam the boot eventually.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will want Adam to come crawling back to Newman Enterprises after failing miserably at Jabot, so Kyle could play a critical role in that process.
