The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may not be as done doing business with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) as he thinks he is. Although Kyle told Victor that he was out and washed his hands of their partnership, it may not be quite that simple.
Victor is a man who tends to pressure people until they fall into line.
Although Kyle refused to accept the second job Victor had for him, that doesn’t mean Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) grandfather will back off.
Kyle feels confident that everything worked out for the best and has assured Summer that he’ll never lie to her again.
Of course, whenever a Y&R character boldly declares something like that, it’s usually a setup for the opposite to happen.
Kyle’s alliance with Victor may lead to disaster despite him thinking the drama is finally over.
As for Kyle’s promise to never lie to Summer again, he seems poised to shatter it.
It’s just tough to believe the writers will make it this easy for Summer and Kyle, so we should start thinking about Victor’s next mission and how he might suck Kyle back in.
Victor acted like he respected Kyle’s decision not to work together anymore, but he may change his mind and make Kyle an offer that he can’t refuse.
Fans saw how easily enticed Kyle was by those textile mills that were part of his last Victor deal.
There’s also the matter of Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) potentially rejoining Jabot and becoming Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) co-CEO.
Victor always manages to have some beef with “Billy Boy” and could easily become part of a plot against him.
Billy could get on Victor’s bad side through his budding relationship with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Perhaps Victor could feel like Billy is trying to replace Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) with Chelsea as Johnny Abbott’s (Paxton Mishkind) main mother figure.
Plus, Victor is protective of Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and may not like Billy’s growing bond with him.
In Victor’s eyes, he might feel like Billy is moving in on Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) father territory.
Of course, there’s the potential for Billy to make trouble for Newman Enterprises through his Jabot co-CEO role, too.
Billy will have something to prove if he accepts this job and could worsen the competition between certain divisions – leading to another Jabot-Newman war.
Regardless, it’s not a stretch to think that Victor would target Billy both personally and professionally.
Billy could become Victor’s next enemy number one at Jabot, so Victor might recruit Kyle for help with a new takedown.
Since Kyle may not approve of Billy rejoining the family business, he might have a reason to team up with Victor despite Summer’s wishes.
Once Kyle gets updates on Billy possibly rejoining the family fold, it could be a game-changer.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle could go behind Summer’s back once again, so that could mean bad news for “Skyle” if he gets caught!
