The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, April 10, tease that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will be a woman on a mission. Summer fell apart right after Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) “died,” but now she’s reached an eerie level of calm with some serious anger behind it.
Although Summer is obviously still distraught over Phyllis’ “death,” she’s finding it easier to throw herself into important tasks.
Summer already got to work on arranging Phyllis’ memorial service, but that won’t distract her for long – nor will it offer the closure she’s looking for.
Until Summer can make sure the person responsible gets locked up, she won’t be able to move on with her life.
It seems like this is Summer’s way of running from the pain of her loss.
Summer will look determined when she finds Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) at Crimson Lights and demands assistance.
We’ll see Summer catch Chance off guard by seeking his help to catch Phyllis’ killer.
Summer will feel confident Phyllis’ “death” was no accident and will have a plan to expose the criminal to blame.
Chance may think Summer’s getting ahead of herself since the toxicology report hasn’t come back to confirm whether poison caused the collapse.
However, Y&R spoilers say Chance will get updates soon enough and confirm that Phyllis’ blood sample contained something harmful.
That news should leave Chance determined to get justice as well, but he may gently urge Summer to back off and let the cops handle this.
Of course, Summer seems fired up enough to seek payback with or without Chance’s help!
This is a situation where Summer will feel the need to be hands-on and participate in the murderer’s exposure.
Summer may continue to point the finger at Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), but Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will refuse to let Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) get away with whatever he’s done.
Since Daniel has major suspicions when it comes to Jeremy, he’ll go after revenge and could make some dangerous moves as a result.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jeremy will have some fires to put out, especially once Phyllis gives him the slip during the week of April 10-14.
