The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, April 17, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will have an important conversation with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who’ll be shocked over some new information.
Although Victor isn’t thrilled about Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), he may act like it’s just a matter of time until that romance fizzles.
Victor may argue that Nick will lose interest and suggest it’s good that Adam is no longer tied to Sally at all.
That way, Adam can focus on his future and the job opportunity Victor’s trying to pull off.
However, Adam will admit his father’s a little behind when it comes to the latest Sally news.
After Adam confesses that Sally is having his baby, he’ll point out that he’s still in love with her.
Once Victor gets updates on the whole situation, he should grow even more concerned about the rivalry between the Newman brothers.
Adam might contend that they’re putting Sally and the baby first, but Victor will probably assume his son wants Sally back and plans to fight for her.
Fortunately, Adam may not have to do much fighting if all this baby bonding continues.
Perhaps Adam’s strategy is to just let nature take its course and hope that his family comes together like it’s meant to.
Other Y&R spoilers say Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will make an SOS call for Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) sake, so he’ll hope Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) can help.
Michael initially rejected the idea of defending Diane in the Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) murder case, but Jack will beg him to see that Diane’s innocent.
Since Michael doesn’t want to believe the worst, he’ll become more open to becoming Diane’s lawyer soon enough.
Jack will also turn to Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) with a special request, so he’ll be doing everything in his power to get Diane out of this legal mess.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will hope to take Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) down instead, but the truth about Phyllis’ faux demise will be a game-changer down the road.
