The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, February 20, teases that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will give Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) a pep talk about ending up with a beautiful baby – no matter who the father turns out to be.
Chloe will also be optimistic about their interior design business being a success, so Sally will thank her for being a really good friend and pull her into a hug.
In Daniel Romalotti Jr’s (Michael Graziadei) suite, he’ll assure Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) that he could never forget about her.
Daniel will thank Lucy for the bracelet and promise he’s always available to talk, even with an ocean between them.
Soon after, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will speak with Daniel privately and advise him to proceed with caution.
Daniel will seem offended over Heather thinking he doesn’t know how to behave around his child, but she’ll still warn that pushing too hard could backfire.
Next, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will call Daniel to discuss the gaming platform, so he’ll admit he could use a friend and will invite her over.
That’ll lead to Daniel spilling the whole story about Heather showing up and revealing she’s moved on with another man.
Lily will urge Daniel to focus on Lucy, but he’ll still seem glum over his motivation going out the window.
Daniel won’t think he has the energy or will to move forward with his project anymore.
However, Lily will protest since Daniel is doing Omega Sphere for himself, too.
Since Daniel needs to show Lucy how to turn a big dream into a reality, Lily won’t think he can give up.
Daniel will feel like he needs time to process, so Lily will tell him to take all the time he needs and will insist everything’s going to be OK.
At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will be there with him when Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) arrives for a legal meeting.
While Abby is upstairs with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware), Devon will thank Christine for representing him in his lawsuit against Lily and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).
Christine will wonder if Devon is sure he wants to proceed since there are no guarantees and this fight could come at a steep emotional price.
Nevertheless, Devon will feel like Jill and Lily have left him no choice.
At Crimson Lights, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will push Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to show how far he’s willing to go to get his son back in the fold.
Victor will refuse to remove Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) from the CEO spot and install Adam, but he’ll hint about another offer instead.
After Victor talks about an opportunity to run a company as vast and important as Newman Enterprises, Adam will admit the offer sounds sincere.
Even so, Adam won’t think he can trust Victor given their history.
With that in mind, Adam will give Victor 24 hours to consider his proposal. After that, it won’t matter what Victor has to offer.
In Victoria’s office, she’ll deliver big news about Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) wanting to sell his company to Newman outright.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will argue that they have to question Tucker’s motive, even if the offer is genuine.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will get updates and think this is happening because Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) warned Tucker about their plans.
Despite Tucker’s proposition, Victoria will think they should move forward with buying up all his debt and get leverage for negotiations.
When Victoria meets with Victor alone later, her father will agree and think they should move now.
After Christine wraps up her visit with Devon, she’ll run into Nate in the hallway.
Christine will seem cagey, so Nate will assume it was a professional meeting involving the conflict with his cousins.
At the Abbott house, Tucker will show up to see Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and reveal that he’s selling McCall Unlimited.
Ashley will act like Tucker’s just trying to avoid the embarrassment of Newman owning his debt and calling all the shots.
That’ll leave Tucker frustrated since he’ll think this move should count for something with Ashley.
Once Tucker guesses he can’t expect Ashley to think he’s changed overnight, he’ll get a text that leaves him shocked.
After Nick joins Sally at Society, Adam will spot them looking cozy. Nick will get Sally out of there in a hurry so she doesn’t have to make too much small talk with Adam.
At the coffeehouse, Sally will be with Nick when she receives a text alert about the paternity test results, so she’ll admit they’re in.
In the park on Monday’s Y&R episode, Daniel will seem deep in thought as he looks down at the bracelet Lucy gave him.
Back at Society, Christine will run into Lily and explain that she’s representing Devon in his lawsuit against Chancellor-Winters.
Although Christine will hope for a compromise, Lily will think Devon has made it clear that’s not happening.
Afterward, Lily will call Amanda Sinclair (Michael Morgan) and beg her to consider coming back as her attorney – even for a short time – to defend Chancellor-Winters.
At Devon’s penthouse again, Abby will wonder if he’s sure about moving forward with the lawsuit and creating more distance in his relationship with Lily, but Devon’s mind will be made up.
At Newman Enterprises, Victoria will get an alarming phone call before telling Victor about someone beating them to the punch.
Somebody else assumed Tucker’s debt, so Victor and Victoria will debate who might’ve robbed them of their shot.
Tucker will also reveal the bombshell during his conversation with Ashley, who’ll enjoy watching him squirm over the mystery debt buyer.
In the end, Ashley will reveal she bought Tucker’s debt herself. After Ashley insists she owns Tucker, she’ll warn that she’s not going to make this easy for him.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley will continue to play some risky games, so stay tuned to Y&R.
