The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 16, tease that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will put their heads together on a new plan. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) insisted his decision was final when it came to dissolving the merger, but Lily will do something drastic to avoid a corporate disaster.
Once Lily provides updates on what she has in mind, Devon could wind up rather torn.
Lily’s new pitch might actually be a decent idea, but Devon will still struggle since it seems like he’s always going along with other people’s plans and never his own.
Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will quiz Devon about what’s going on, so he’ll fill her in on the latest proposal and how surprising it is.
Part of Devon may be tempted to cave in since it could destroy his relationship with Lily if he doesn’t.
Nevertheless, Y&R fans know Devon ultimately has to do what’s right for him as well as Hamilton-Winters.
Abby will offer Devon a pep talk and give him the support he needs – no matter how ugly the battle might get.
Next, Daniel Romalott Jr (Michael Graziadei) will have some good reasons to worry.
Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will be dealing with more marriage drama, so Daniel will interrupt her fight with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) at some point during the week of January 16-20.
However, Summer and Daniel will also fret over Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who’ll seem like she’s spinning out of control.
Daniel and Summer may fear that Phyllis’ efforts to destroy Diane could do as much harm to Phyllis herself in the end.
Phyllis’ hatred for Diane is definitely taking over her life, so this could lead to awful news once she pursues a new revenge plot.
It’s clear that Phyllis can’t let go of her rage, but that could lead to some horrible consequences.
If Phyllis tries to take Diane over this criminal situation with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), she may drag Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) down with her!
