The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, January 23 Recap – Nate Picks Audra Trip Over Elena – Victor Sabotages Sally

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, January 23, teases that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will be brimming with new ideas on her first day at Newman Media, so Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will think they’re going to make a great team.

When Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) shows up, she’ll jump to the wrong conclusion about Nate working with Audra against Chancellor-Winters.

However, Nate will clarify that Audra works for Newman Media now, so Elena will apologize for the confusion.

Although Nate was supposed to discuss details with Audra over takeout, she’ll push him to accept Elena’s lunch invitation instead.

At Society, Elena will get updates on Audra’s position and will pat herself on the back for a patient’s life-saving surgery this morning.

Nate will want to celebrate Elena’s accomplishment, so he’ll vow to do things up right with Champagne tonight.

At Crimson Lights, Audra will gloat to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about her new job at Newman Media, but she’ll assure Sharon that Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) has nothing to worry about.

Audra will be all about looking forward, not backward.

Later, Audra will impress Nate when she reveals she’s been in touch with an important contact about an idea she pitched.

This contact will only be in Milwaukee for the night, so this could be their only chance to work with her.

Nate will assure Audra that he’s free for the trip and will call Elena to postpone their celebration.

Although Elena will insist she understands about the raincheck, she’ll definitely seem disappointed.

In bed with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will regret that she made it so hard for Jack to forgive her, but she’ll insist he knows all her secrets now.

Diane will promise she’ll never betray Jack and will seal it with a kiss.

When Jack and Diane come downstairs, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will tease them about getting a late start.

Jack will admit he’s romantically involved with Diane and will assure Traci that he’s quite happy about this new development.

Traci will congratulate the lovebirds and seem genuinely supportive – though she’ll suggest having someone give Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) the news in Paris so she can blow up over there instead of Genoa City.

Once Jack is alone with Diane, she’ll worry about his reputation if they go public.

Jack won’t care about that at all and will intend on doing everything he can to stay this happy.

Even so, Diane will fret over Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) reaction and think they should take things slow.

When Diane says she really wants this time to last as long as possible, Jack will agree and kiss her hand tenderly.

In Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) office, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will share her suspicions that Diane was the real burglary culprit.

Nikki will think Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) must’ve helped Diane frame Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and will want her in a cell of her own.

Nevertheless, Victoria will think Nikki needs to find a way to accept that Diane is staying in town and let this go.

When talk turns to Victoria’s pizza night at Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) place with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and the boys, Victoria will have a strange feeling this new family dynamic won’t end well.

At Jabot, Kyle will defend his potential partnership with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier).

There’ll be minimal risks since Kyle laid out some ground rules – including the fact that Jack would never know he was involved.

Summer will warn that if Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) figures out he was set up, then he’ll go straight to Jack.

Instead of plotting against Adam, Summer will think they should just let him fail on his own.

Kyle will point out there are more benefits than just getting rid of Adam.

It turns out Kyle pushed to take back control of some crucial textile factories that would be a game-changer for Marchetti – and Victor agreed.

Despite Kyle’s efforts to sell this, Summer won’t look pleased about his involvement in Victor’s scheme.

At Society, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will flash back to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) telling him that she’s pregnant.

When Victor finds Nick looking deep in thought, he’ll wonder if his son’s mood has anything to do with Sally.

Victor will add that something’s about to happen with Adam that could have complications if Nick stays with “ that woman.”

Nick will ask what Victor’s plotting now, so Victor will hint about Adam leaving Jabot and ultimately returning to the Newman fold.

There’ll be some bickering about Sally since she could be a continued source of conflict between Adam and Nick.

Victor will want the brothers to get along once Adam comes back to Newman where he belongs.

Nick will push Victor to leave Sally alone since she’s going through enough right now.

Victor will ask what that means, so Nick will cover by talking about Sally’s new business and upcoming pitch with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).

As for Victor’s attempt to force Adam’s hand and bring the family together, Nick will think it could have the opposite effect.

Once Nick meets up with Victoria in her office, he’ll fill her in on Victor’s new Adam goals.

Victoria will rant about Victor wanting to disrupt the company by bringing Adam back on board.

Nick won’t have all the details on Monday’s Y&R episode, but he’ll know Victor seems to be enjoying every second of this.

Meanwhile, Victor will get Jill on a video call, mention her meeting with Sally and insist there’s something Jill needs to know.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will continue to make bold moves, so don’t miss what’s ahead on Y&R!

CDL will have all the terrific Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news you’re looking for, so check back often.
