The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, January 30 Recap – Kyle Leaks Adam’s Reports – Nate’s Secret Weapon

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, January 30, teases that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will know better than to think she can stop Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plans for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

However, Nikki will at least voice her concerns about how this will affect the balance at Newman Enterprises – and she’ll hate to see Victor make an enemy out of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Once talk turned to the burglary that Jack and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) were behind, Nikki will be willing to look the other way since Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) is back in prison.

At Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will call an employee and request the recent status reports from all the accounts that Adam has been overseeing.

Once Kyle receives them and looks through the paperwork, he’ll definitely see a pattern.

Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will be suspicious of what Kyle’s up to when she finds him, but he’ll offer a vague excuse about numbers and send her off for a chat with Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei).

In the park, Summer will admit she’s worried Kyle’s keeping something from her, but she’ll hope she’s wrong.

Daniel will get updates on Victor recruiting Kyle to sabotage Adam, but Summer will point out that Kyle eventually claimed he wanted no part of it.

Summer and Daniel will commiserate about all the problems Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) keeps causing.

Although Daniel will hope Phyllis is going to rein it in, he won’t hold his breath.

At Society, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will feel like there’s something bothering Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), so she’ll keep pressuring him to come clean.

Nick will claim this is about Victor being against his relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), but Victoria won’t see a future for Nick and Sally. In Victoria’s opinion, Nick will be way out of Sally’s league.

Nick will push Victoria to keep her negative thoughts to herself and accept that Sally’s part of his life.

Soon after, Nick will get a phone call from Sally about Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) cancelling their meeting and not really elaborating on her second thoughts. That’ll leave Nick determined to get to the bottom of this.

At Newman Enterprises, Nick will confront Victor about Sally’s setback.

After Nick asks if Victor convinced Jill to rip this away from Sally, he’ll push his dad to tell him yes or no.

Back at Society on Monday’s Y&R episode, Phyllis will complain to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) about the tension with Daniel.

Once Lauren and Michael hear about Phyllis shopping the gaming project around without Daniel’s approval, they’ll think she was out of line.

Phyllis will defend herself and will ultimately have a lightbulb moment.

After Phyllis decides she’ll convince Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) to give Daniel another chance, Lauren and Michael will think she’s once again proving she has boundary issues.

Nevertheless, Phyllis won’t think it’s meddling if she simply tells Heather how great Daniel is doing and how he’s turned his life around.

Michael will worry this is going to backfire, so Lauren will advise calling once and letting it go if Heather doesn’t return Phyllis’ voicemail.

Phyllis will insist she has to do this in person, so she’ll plan to fly to Portugal and speak with Heather as well as Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) face to face.

Next, Kyle will meet with Victor to discuss something interesting he found in Adam’s reports – something that could be used to get him out of Jabot.

It turns out the effort Adam’s putting in is mediocre at best. Kyle will contend that Adam is treading water and suggest this is hardly what he’d expect from a guy at his level.

After Victor thanks Kyle for the news, he’ll think they should see what they can do with it.

At Newman Media, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will push Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to tell him how she knows Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is interested in Daniel’s gaming platform.

Audra will confess that she just went to see Tucker after getting summoned, so Nate will question her loyalty.

Of course, Audra will insist she works for Nate alone and will add that she was just curious what Tucker’s next move would be.

According to Audra, she planned to talk to Tucker and give Nate her report.

Once Audra mentions Tucker’s original plan going down in flames, she’ll note that he expressed curiosity in Daniel’s project.

Nate will feel like Audra can be his secret weapon, so she’ll like seeing this hungry side of him that’s loving the game.

After Nate reflects on Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) holding him back, he’ll understand why people like Victor and Victoria find power intoxicating.

Audra will smile and insist it looks good on Nate.

At Crimson Lights, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will open up to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) about her Audra concerns.

Once Elena admits she doesn’t trust Audra, Mariah will understand considering what she knows about Audra and Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) failed relationship.

If Elena’s getting a bad vibe, Mariah will think there’s probably something to it.

Tessa will ask if Elena thinks Audra has designs on Nate, but Elena won’t think Nate would cheat on her with Audra. Instead, Elena will fear that Audra is stroking Nate’s ambitions and pulling him back to his sinister side.

Although Elena was hoping this job would be a fresh start, she’ll fear Nate’s drive for power never went away – and given the chance, it’s only going to get worse.

After Nate finds Victoria, he’ll fill her in on Daniel’s platform potentially falling through at Chancellor-Winters.

Nate will want to snatch it up if the deal falls through, so Victoria will trust his instincts and offer her full support.

Once Nate admits there’s one wrinkle, he’ll note that Tucker is snooping around the platform, too.

Nate will assure Victoria that he’s already devised a strategy, but she’ll insist that there’s no need to worry about Tucker.

Victoria will hint about what she already has in the works and will vow to take care of Tucker herself very soon.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tucker could go to war with the Newmans, so stay tuned to Y&R!
