The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, July 31, reveal that the Adustus International and Kirsten Incorporated merger could bring more tension for the Newman brothers. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will take charge of a situation soon, so he may deliver a warning to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Since Adam is already on thin ice with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nick may urge him to just try to follow the rules for once and focus on their goal of making this merger a success.
However, Adam wouldn’t be Adam if he didn’t have a little side project going on!
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will track Adam down and most likely accept his offer to run his IT department.
After Adam calls Phyllis out for having a hidden agenda, she’ll admit she needs dirt on Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Phyllis will hope Adam can score her some leverage and sink Tucker, so it sounds like they’re on the verge of striking a risky deal.
Of course, Phyllis’ employment news may not go over well with Nick after what she did to Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier), so she’ll probably have to face her ex’s backlash sooner or later.
In the meantime, Y&R spoilers say Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will make a pitch to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) since she’ll want him to do her dirty work at Jabot.
After Ashley suggests Billy can act as a Trojan horse and help her plot Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) downfall, he’ll realize she’s got the same idea as Jack and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters).
It turns out Billy won’t be the only one who hears a proposal since Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will also have one for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
Early during the week of July 31-August 4, Sharon will try to convince Mariah to resign from Jabot and come help her make lemonade out of Cameron Kirsten’s (Linden Ashby) lemons.
Since Cameron left Kristen Incorporated to Sharon, she intends to rise above all the turmoil and use this company to put something positive back into the world.
Sharon will explain the Adustus International and Kirsten Incorporated merger to Mariah, who’ll have to decide whether she’s willing to quit Jabot and try something new.
