The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, June 5, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will finally realize why Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) has been pushing him away and sneaking around nonstop.
After spotting Summer and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in her GCAC suite, Kyle will realize there’s a lot he doesn’t know!
Phyllis might agree to turn herself in after Kyle’s discovery, but Y&R spoilers hint that she’ll make a dangerous move.
That could mean Phyllis will make a break for it and try to find herself a new hideout somewhere else.
As for Summer and Kyle, they’ll definitely face more marriage conflict. Kyle will assume Summer has known Phyllis was alive for far longer than she let on, so he’ll push for answers.
Summer may admit she came face to face with Phyllis not too long after the memorial service, but Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) was the only person who got updates on Summer’s side of the story.
Of course, Daniel misled Kyle, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and the cops about being the person who interacted with his mother.
It was actually Summer who got that first Phyllis visit – and she’s been slinking around for clandestine meetings with her mom without Kyle’s knowledge, too.
All this secrecy will leave Kyle deeply upset for many reasons.
Kyle won’t appreciate this extreme level of deception and will be especially furious over Summer throwing Diane under the bus for Phyllis’ sake.
Summer initially pretended she was in the dark on Phyllis being alive and was fine with letting Diane take the fall for Phyllis’ phony murder in the meantime.
Although Summer will be sorry for deceiving Kyle, she may act like she was doing whatever it took for her mom and argue that Kyle would’ve done the same in her position.
Kyle may disagree and contend that he would’ve been honest with Summer since they’re supposed to be a team.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer and Kyle’s relationship will take a serious hit, so stay tuned for news on what their future will look like.
