The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, May 1, tease that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will stay strong despite all the naysayers – including Lauren Baldwin (Tracy E. Bregman). It’s clear that nearly everyone in town believes Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is guilty, but Michael will trust his gut.
Michael genuinely believes in Diane’s innocence, even if he can’t prove it just yet. Of course, Michael might take a step closer to achieving that goal soon enough.
It turns out Michael will step out of bounds in some way on Monday’s Y&R episode.
Michael will go too far in an effort to help Diane, so he’ll take a risk and hope it pays off.
That could involve some legal maneuver or maybe it’ll be as simple as pulling strings for the jailhouse wedding that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has in mind.
Either way, Michael will remain committed to the pursuit of true justice.
Meanwhile, Diane’s legal mess will snowball into an even bigger PR nightmare for Jabot, so major damage control will be needed.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will take the lead on that, but they may have very different approaches to the same problem.
Although Billy will want to protect Jack and the company, Ashley will be more focused on playing dirty against Diane.
Perhaps Ashley will want a statement to distance themselves from Diane completely, which would naturally make her look guilty.
Billy may shut down the idea and refuse to rile Jack up with a move like that.
Even so, it’ll be a real challenge to handle this Diane crisis and keep the Jabot drama from spiraling out of control.
Over with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), he’ll change his mind about something.
Could that involve hitting the sheets with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) despite his vow that he wouldn’t cross the line again?
Regardless, Nate’s bound to run into some problems with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) since he lied to her about heading to Los Angeles alone.
Victoria actually invited Nate on this trip with her, so Elena’s in for a shock when Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) ultimately offers updates on the truth.
