The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that hiring Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) could turn out to be a big mistake. Nate Hastings decided to make Audra his new COO with Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) approval, but we all know Audra is shady.
For starters, Audra came to town on a mission to help with Tucker McCall’s (Trevor McCall) takeover of Chancellor-Winters. Since Audra was an IPO expert who served as a mole, she was able to feed Tucker inside info and influence things behind the scenes.
Of course, Audra’s plot didn’t work out in the end since she was exposed, but she’s proven she’s resourceful and willing to play dirty. It’s easy to see that Audra looks out for number one and always goes after what she wants.
Audra didn’t care that Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) had a girlfriend when she planted that kiss and tried to get back together with him. Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) wasn’t even a factor for Audra as she fought to achieve her goal.
Although Audra didn’t get the Noah reunion she was hoping for, the show’s been giving fans a sense of how she operates. Audra may take a similar approach now that she’s scored the COO position at Newman Media.
Will Audra really be satisfied with playing second fiddle to Nate? Audra may think she’s the one who needs to be in the CEO chair and could start making moves to score it.
Victoria certainly had no problem throwing perfectly capable Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) off the throne for Nate. Perhaps Nate shouldn’t get too comfy in the CEO position either since Victoria could grow increasingly impressed with Audra.
What happens if Audra takes the initiative on everything and wows Victoria with her every move? It could lead to Audra looking like the better person for the job, so Victoria might demote Nate to the COO position and let Audra take over the top spot.
Then again, Nate might get fired completely if Victoria wants to let Audra build her own team like Nate got the chance to do. Maybe Nate could even quit if he finds the whole thing too humiliating.
Bottom line, Audra has proven that she’s a go-getter who always wants to achieve more. Victoria has also proven she’s quick to fire people if she feels there’s a better candidate available.
Will all that add up to Audra stealing Nate’s job? Nate never really got a proper comeuppance for plotting against Chancellor-Winters, so this could be an opportunity for Y&R writers to make him pay.
Will Victoria make some updates to who’s in power at Newman Media? Could that mean good news for Audra and total humiliation for Nate?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate could live to regret hiring Audra, so stay tuned to Y&R! CDL will have other fantastic Young and the Restless spoilers, news and updates, so drop by frequently.
