The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) could become a surprising hero in the story of Chancellor-Winters’ crumbling merger. Although Nate was a big factor in creating this mess, he may ultimately be the one who helps clean it up.
Y&R fans know Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) wasn’t willing to negotiate and wants his company back, so he’s willing to take Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) to court over this.
Of course, Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) is concerned about the toll a battle like this might take on Devon’s family.
Devon is used to getting his way when he puts his foot down, but Abby isn’t so sure that’ll happen this time around.
Instead, Devon could indeed end up in a nasty court feud and pay a steep price for it.
There’s a lot for Devon to lose – like his relationship with Lily as well as the Hamilton-Winters legacy he’s been fighting so hard to preserve.
Abby fears Lily might never forgive Devon if he continues down this path – and Nate might find himself fearing that, too.
Once Nate gets updates on all the latest family drama, he’ll feel at least partially responsible.
If Nate hadn’t plotted a secret takeover and caused problems with launching the IPO, Devon wouldn’t have had as many doubts.
It seems like Devon would’ve moved full-speed ahead, but Nate’s betrayal left him with trust issues that got worse after Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) alliance with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) was revealed.
Now Devon feels like a sucker and is fed up with not having the control he craves.
Lily is standing in the way of that along with Jill, so Devon is ready for a fierce fight.
Y&R spoilers say Nate will deal with guilt over his role in Devon and Lily’s rivalry.
Since Nate will want to do something about it, he could set some sort of intervention trap and try to talk some sense into his cousins.
Will Nate be the one who saves the day and helps Devon reach a compromise with Lily?
It’d be nice if Nate could redeem himself a bit and create some good news for a change.
