The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will make a discovery that leaves him even more concerned about Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) well-being. Y&R fans know Victor is testing his inner circle and trying to spot the traitor, but he’s scaring his loved ones in the process.
For Victor’s next trick, it looks like he’ll put a bunch of doodles on a notepad and perhaps make it seem like it’s a critical document.
Victor might instruct Adam to send it somewhere important or at least leave it behind for Adam to find.
One way or another, Adam will get his hands on this notepad and grow even more fearful about Victor’s mental state.
It’ll lead to Adam showing Nick Newman (Joshua Hoffman) the drawings he found and urging his brother to see that Victor’s in truly bad shape.
Adam will suspect that Victor is well on his way to having a mental breakdown, so he’ll feel like they have to do something ASAP.
However, something will finally click into place for Nick.
Between Adam’s discovery and any clues Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) might offer, Nick will put the puzzle pieces together and determine that Victor must be faking his latest crisis.
Since Nick won’t give Adam updates on the truth just yet, he’ll simply push his brother to let it go for now.
Adam will undoubtedly protest, but Nick will insist he can handle this himself and will make a trip to the Newman ranch soon after.
Once Nick arrives, he’ll call Victor out for playing games and messing with their emotions.
Victor will probably pretend he has no idea what Nick’s talking about, but Nick will warn that he’s onto his dad and demand a confession.
Nikki might come along and argue that the jig is up if Nick can’t get through to Victor at first.
Regardless, Victor may eventually confess his plot to uncover the traitor and how it required going to extremes.
Nick isn’t going to be happy once he gets confirmation on Victor’s twisted scheme, but it’s better than the alternative since his father thankfully isn’t experiencing a genuine mental decline.
