The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will request a meeting with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at Society, but Nick will obviously remain guarded – especially after the way their latest interaction went.
When Victor found out Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was pregnant with Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) baby, he became totally enraged with Nick’s refusal to step back and let them be a family.
As a result, Nick and Victor’s conversation got extremely heated.
After Victor reaches out to Nick again, it could leave Nick thinking he’s just going to get put on full blast once more.
However, Victor will settle down by then and insist he has a legitimate job offer.
Nick has found great success as Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) COO, so Victor will think Nick should be Adam’s COO, too.
Once Victor explains that he struck a deal with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) for McCall Unlimited, he’ll insist that Adam’s going to be in charge as planned.
Since Adam will have a lot on his plate as CEO, Victor will hope Nick’s willing to step up and help his brother run the company.
Victor doesn’t like all the tension between Adam and Nick, so he’ll view this as a worthwhile project for his sons to tackle together.
Of course, it’s wishful thinking on Victor’s part if he actually expects Nick and Adam to get along, especially considering this situation with pregnant Sally.
Y&R spoilers say Nick will immediately shut down the idea of working with Adam and will urge Victor to see that it’d be a disaster.
Nick may argue that even more conflict would erupt if he started butting heads with Adam in business next.
Regardless, Nick will make it crystal clear that he has no intention of being Adam’s COO.
That news will disappoint Victor, who’ll ultimately hint about his real motive for pushing this partnership.
Victor will want to help Nick understand Adam’s perspective and see for himself how much his brother still loves Sally.
Once Nick realizes just how manipulative this offer is, he’ll have yet another reason to turn it down.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will dig his heels in when it comes to his relationship with Sally and shut down this McCall Unlimited COO role once he gets updates.
