The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will get updates on some news that leaves him concerned. During May sweeps, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will face an unpleasant surprise, so she’ll turn to Nick for assistance once a crisis strikes.
Sharon will deal with a familiar threat, so this could be about her cancer potentially returning.
There may be a medical scare where Sharon fears she’s sick again and turns to Nick for help.
Of course, Sharon won’t want to worry Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) while they’re enjoying being new moms to Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle).
Likewise, Sharon won’t want Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) to fret while she’s at college – and she may think Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) deserves this blissful period with Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), too.
In other words, Sharon may not want to feel like a burden to her children, even if they wouldn’t really feel that way at all.
Since Sharon’s romance with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is too new to drag him into something this serious, it’s easy to see why she’ll seek Nick’s support instead.
Nick and Sharon have a special relationship since they’ve managed to remain friends after all these years.
There’s a lot of love left between them, so Y&R spoilers say Nick will absolutely come running when Sharon calls.
Since Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is pregnant and will soon be tackling some major Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) drama, Nick will feel a bit conflicted.
It’ll be hard for Nick to take a step back from Sally while he helps Sharon, but he’ll know he has to put Sharon first – especially considering the gravity of the situation.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) often acts like Sharon is the true love of Nick’s life and that all other women are just placeholders.
It looks like Adam may be proven right if Nick strengthens his bond with Sharon through this ordeal.
Even if it turns out Sharon’s cancer isn’t back after all, the fear she’ll face will be very real.
That could pull Nick much closer and lead to the “Shick” reunion that many fans have been waiting for.
