The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will apparently do a little more snooping. Back in March, Y&R fans will recall how suspicious Nick seemed when Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) claimed to be staying at The Grand Phoenix due to a fight with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).
Since Nick witnessed the chemistry between Nate and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) for himself, he clearly suspected Nate was about to go up to a suite for some lovemaking.
Nate actually turned Victoria down, but Nick doesn’t know that and is surely concerned for Elena’s sake.
It turns out there are legitimate reasons to worry since Nate’s on the verge of truly cheating.
The week of April 10-14 will lead to Nate sleeping with Victoria in her office, so they’ll officially cross that line and have to deal with drama afterward.
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will listen outside Victoria’s locked door and realize a steamy betrayal is in progress, so she’ll plan to use that news to benefit her in various ways.
Nick, on the other hand, will be less self-serving when he apparently confirms something besides a professional relationship is going on.
Maybe Nick will catch Nate looking disheveled after this office encounter with Victoria or something along those lines.
Nick may decide there’s no room for doubt about what’s really going on here.
Y&R spoilers say Nick will corner Nate and deliver a stern ultimatum. Nick’s going to lay down the law, so Nate had better listen up!
Will Nick’s ultimatum involve an effort to shield Elena from pain?
Nick may acknowledge that he’s made cheating mistakes of his own and argue that they always cause nothing but devastation.
Maybe Nick will warn Nate about all the damage he could do and insist this isn’t fair to Elena.
Nick might deliver an ultimatum that involves Nate stopping this side romance with Victoria – or else Nick might blab to Elena about Nate’s betrayal.
Of course, it’s also possible Nick will threaten to tell Elena the truth unless Nate comes clean first.
That could leave Nate scrambling to convince Nick that what happened with Victoria was a one-time deal.
Nate might tell Nick that he got whatever that was out of his system and intends to focus on Elena now.
Maybe Nate will push Nick to keep quiet and let Elena think he’s been faithful.
Regardless, all signs point to Nick butting in and creating complications for Nate to contend with.
