The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may shift his strategy when it comes to the whole Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) situation. Once Nick gets updates on Nate cheating with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) on their LA trip and blowing up his relationship with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), he’ll want to take action.
Y&R fans can expect Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to battle concerns of his own when it comes to Nate and his motives.
Nick could easily fuel those concerns and try to make Victor see that Nate is a liability.
Perhaps Nick will act like Nate couldn’t be loyal if his life depended on it.
Nick might urge Victor to see that keeping Nate around will just distract Victoria and set her up for more heartache.
Victor doesn’t usually like to pull rank when it comes to Victoria and the decisions she makes at Newman Enterprises.
However, Victor does own the company and indeed has the final say on any choices that are made there.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate will find himself under attack thanks to Nick during the week of May 15-19.
We’ll see Nick fight back against Nate in some way, so this may be about trying to get him fired.
By then, Nick will realize Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is trying to hire Sally at McCall Unlimited, so that could alarm Nick and leave him eager to present Sally with an alternative.
What if Nick tries to get Sally her old job at Newman Media back?
Most of Nate’s success has happened because he capitalized on things Sally had already set in motion, so it’s not like he’s really proven to be an amazing leader yet.
Nick knows Sally never should’ve been fired in the first place, so he might hope to right that wrong.
Since Victor tried to bribe Sally into leaving town without her baby, Nick may push his dad to make amends by rehiring Sally as Newman Media’s CEO.
That’d mean going over Victoria’s head, but Nick may think it’s necessary since his sister obviously can’t think clearly when it comes to Nate.
Victoria’s burning desires keep getting in the way!
