The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) recently had a difficult realization about Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) almost convinced Nick that he could still have a future with Sally, but then he walked in the GCAC and saw her dining with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) warned Nick to let that romance go – and after witnessing Sally’s growing bond with Adam, Nick finally seems ready to move on, too.
Of course, Nick has enough family drama going on to keep him busy for a while.
Between Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) drinking and all the chaos that’s happening with Jordan (Colleen Zenk), Nick will no doubt focus on everything the Newman clan’s going through.
Nick will want to keep an eye on Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) as well now that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) has been proven to be her daughter.
Victoria is currently freaking out over Jordan taking Claire from the psych ward, so there’s a lot going on with the Newman family.
However, Jordan’s reign of terror will come to an end sooner or later, so we should think about Nick’s love life once he’s got more time on his hands. Who will help Nick move on from Sally?
Nick shared some intriguing scenes with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) shortly before Khalil’s maternity leave began.
Once Lily comes back, maybe Y&R could give a Nick and Lily pairing a real try.
Then again, many fans are rooting for Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) to get a bigger story than just occasional hospital popups.
Nick is already friends with Elena, so it’d be easy for that bond to cross out of the friend zone and into romantic territory.
Of course, Nick will always have a powerful connection with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), so plenty of Y&R viewers are rooting for a Sharon and Nick reunion.
If Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) ditches Sharon for Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), then Sharon might find herself in the same love triangle loser boat with Nick and grow closer to her ex as a result.
No matter who Nick chooses to move on with, it could ignite some jealousy once it finally plays out.
Will Sally have a hard time watching Nick fall for someone else?
