The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will make a bold move during the week of April 10-14. Y&R fans know Phyllis is already showing signs of regret when it comes to her sneaky plan with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).
Phyllis got caught up in this twisted revenge plot without really thinking about the consequences.
Since Phyllis was so focused on getting payback in the present, she neglected to think about her lonely future.
Jeremy has been playing up how wonderful it’ll be for Phyllis to use her new identity and start fresh somewhere else.
However, that’s obviously not what Phyllis wants since she can’t even settle on a place to go.
Phyllis’ whole life is there in Genoa City along with the kids she loves dearly.
Although Phyllis got fed up with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) treatment of her, she still adores them and always will.
Phyllis will grow increasingly concerned about the toll Daniel and Summer’s grief is taking on them.
We’ll also see Phyllis get curious about the other mourners and what people might have to say at her memorial service.
That’s why Phyllis will decide to attend this service herself, but she’ll have to don a disguise before she can sneak in.
Phyllis will wear a short brunette wig along with some glasses, so she’ll look like a dowdy librarian when she crashes the event.
It’ll be interesting to see if anyone interacts with Phyllis, who could alter her voice and perhaps make up a story about her relationship with the “deceased.”
Whatever the case, Phyllis may battle even more regrets once she sees Summer and Daniel’s devastation at this memorial.
Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will come back for the service, so Phyllis may feel guilty about deceiving her granddaughter, too.
There’ll be some other loved ones like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) who tug at Phyllis’ heartstrings as well.
Even Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) grief could surprise Phyllis and make her see that he still cares.
Phyllis will surely realize that she’s missed and was loved in Genoa City.
Of course, Phyllis may fume at the sight of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and other enemies she’s faced off with over the years.
There’ll inevitably be people at the service that have no business showing up – at least from Phyllis’ perspective.
Regardless, Phyllis will face a lot of complex emotions as she lurks and listens, so stay tuned for updates on her memorial mission.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jeremy won’t be happy about the news that Phyllis has flown the coop, so he’ll try to regain control of the situation soon enough.
