The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will continue to deal with the fallout of her actions. Although Phyllis is a free woman, she wasn’t able to avoid consequences entirely.
Y&R fans know Phyllis only got community service and probation for all her crimes, so that was a pretty light sentence under the circumstances. Phyllis was definitely relieved once she received the good news.
However, Phyllis is paying a steep price with her children since both Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Grazaidei) are pushing her away.
Daniel and Summer are struggling to believe Phyllis will ever truly change, so they’ve both declared that they’re done dealing with her antics.
It’s up to Phyllis to prove she can truly turn her life around and find a way to make amends with her kids.
Of course, Phyllis isn’t known for making great decisions, so her efforts to repair the damage could make things worse or at least end up being rather shady.
Phyllis’ faked demise and plot against Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) definitely took a toll on Summer’s life.
The secrets Summer kept for Phyllis drove Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) straight into Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) bed, so Summer feels there’s no longer any hope for her marriage.
If Phyllis comes to accept that, she might decide Summer would be even happier with another man who would treat her right.
Phyllis might end up disgusted over all the Audra drama and ready for Summer to have a loyal new guy by her side.
In that case, Phyllis might try to restore Summer’s happiness by pushing her into a new romance.
Maybe Phyllis will play matchmaker somehow and try to shove Summer in the direction of someone other than Kyle.
It’d be easy for Phyllis to witness some warm moments between Summer and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
Perhaps Phyllis could determine that Chance would make an excellent new boyfriend for her daughter and plot to lock in his future with Summer.
Although Chance is currently pursuing Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), their romance hasn’t gone too deep just yet.
Phyllis might decide Summer is a better option for Chance and do her best to push them together instead.
It could be Phyllis’ way of trying to right some wrongs since her actions were the beginning of the end for Summer and Kyle.
