The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of July 24-28 reveals that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will have a warning for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Jack will point out that if they really decide to fight, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is going to pull out every dirty trick that he can even think of.
Diane will feel certain that Jack is right, but she’ll also admit she has a plan.
There’ll be a devious glint in Diane’s eyes, so it looks like she’ll be cooking up quite the scheme against Tucker and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
Since Diane can tell that Tucker wants to use Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to get under her skin, she may think she can use that strategy against him.
The more Diane plays it cool, the more frustrated Tucker will get over his own plan failing! It could lead to Tucker making some big blunders that will perhaps allow Jack to gain the upper hand.
A plot like that could test Diane’s resolve since she hates Phyllis’ guts and always will.
Diane can put on the fake nice act all she wants, but that doesn’t change the fact that Phyllis is her loathed nemesis.
Of course, Tucker’s real weakness seems to be his love for Ashley, so Diane could also propose some ways to come between them and try to make sure their wedding never happens.
Regardless, Diane will explain her strategy to Jack, so she’ll share exactly how she plans to fight fire with fire.
Y&R’s weekly preview video also features Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) sitting down with Phyllis for a conversation at the GCAC.
Phyllis may expect Billy to blast her for faking her demise, but he might insist he’s glad to see her alive and back in town.
Billy loved Phyllis once upon a time and would never want anything truly terrible to happen to her.
That said, Billy may acknowledge that Phyllis’ actions have had major consequences, especially for her floundering daughter.
After Billy says he wants to share something about Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier), he may mention that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) seems truly done with their marriage.
Billy might urge Phyllis to be prepared for the possibility that some of her blunders can’t be fixed, including her relationship with Summer.
At some point in the coming episodes, Phyllis is bound to get updates on Kyle sleeping with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), so she’ll no doubt be furious on Summer’s behalf.
Meanwhile, Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) will give Ashley and Tucker their blessing on the upcoming wedding, but it’ll be on one condition.
Abby will insist Tucker and Ashley should stop looking at venues for the event.
Instead, Devon and Abby will want to throw them a wedding at the Chancellor mansion, so Ashley and Tucker will seem touched over the news.
