The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, December 4, reveals that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will talk to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) trying to pull a fast one.
Once Jill updates Billy on Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) involvement, she’ll push Billy to come back to Chancellor-Winters and give her some family loyalty.
At Crimson Lights, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will realize she’s walked in on something when Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) suddenly clam up. Summer will act like it’s just a business meeting, but Phyllis will think there’s more to the story.
Next, Chelsea will head to Society, where she’ll hear about Jill’s latest job offer for Billy. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has plenty of support from the other Abbotts against Tucker, but Jill will claim to have no one – and that’s why she’ll think she needs Billy’s help.
At the GCAC, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will get Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) to listen to his new demo since she was his muse. Christine will love the song and will agree to join Danny for a meal as well.
Danny will end up admitting Phyllis inspired him too since he was working on a set of lyrics about forgiveness and fresh starts. However, Danny will assure Christine that she shouldn’t compare herself to Phyllis since he doesn’t.
Back at the coffeehouse, Phyllis will speak with Summer alone and express how hurt she is that her daughter keeps putting up walls. Summer will realize it’s not fair, so she’ll open up about her romantic dilemma.
Summer will confess that she keeps going back and forth between wondering if she should work things out with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) eventually and wanting Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) so badly it makes her dizzy sometimes.
After Summer mentions Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) and trying to do the right thing, Phyllis will push her to follow her heart since life isn’t a dress rehearsal.
Although Summer will insist Chance is unattainable, Phyllis will act like nothing is truly attainable in life.
After Summer changes the subject and asks about Phyllis’ personal life instead, Phyllis will want to talk about that over lunch.
At the athletic club, Christine will stand near the door with Danny and ask if he’ll send her the song he played earlier.
Once Christine gushes over Danny’s perfect title, she’ll give him a kiss – just in time for Phyllis to walk in with Summer and witness it.
At the ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will all make it back from Oregon.
Victor will make it clear that Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) going to be found and locked up like Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) since they both belong in prison.
Victoria will admit she almost feels sorry for Claire, who was trained to hate the Newmans from birth – and now her whole life is ruined. Nikki will argue that Claire is a heartless sociopath and wonder how Victoria can feel anything but contempt for her.
Victor will echo that idea and insist Claire deserves no compassion. Nick will add that Claire gets no pity from him either.
Nevertheless, Victoria will contend that Claire is Jordan’s victim and isn’t the evil one here. Claire wasn’t equipped to make the proper choices since Jordan raised her – at least that’s how Victoria will see it.
After Victor gets a report from his people on Jordan, he’ll confirm that she’s Eve Howard’s (Margaret Mason) sister and that she registered as a nurse at Memorial for a short stint during the time Victoria gave birth.
Shortly after the baby supposedly passed away, Jordan disappeared. That news will leave Victoria reeling as she tries to wrap her head around the possibility that Claire could be the same child.
Cole will point out that he doesn’t think Claire was part of the con and that she genuinely believes they’re her parents.
Victoria will agree since she saw the look in Claire’s eyes after she found out Jordan stole her as a baby – like her whole world had been shaken.
After Victoria gets overwhelmed and runs out the door, Cole will chase after her. Once Cole joins Victoria at Crimson Lights, they’ll talk about any closure they might’ve had getting ripped away from them.
Cole will suggest that if what Jordan claimed was true – and that’s a big if – then Claire could be their premature baby all grown up. Since they need the truth one way or another, Cole will think that starts with facing Claire again.
Back at the ranch on Monday’s Y&R episode, Nikki will find herself tempted by the vodka at the bar area multiple times, but she’ll claim she’s feeling better.
As for whether Claire could be Cole and Victoria’s daughter, Victor will insist they need more info since Jordan is a liar.
Nick will think a DNA test would be a good start, but Victor will want to focus on putting Jordan behind bars with Claire first.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Claire will become the source of more Newman family conflict soon, so stay tuned. CDL’s where you want to be for fantastic Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so visit us often for more Y&R details.
