The Young and the Restless Recap: Tuesday, December 5 – Nikki’s Eerie Phone Call – Claire Strikes Deal with Victoria & Cole

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 5, reveals that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will be surprised when she walks in the visiting area and sees that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) have come to talk to her.

Claire will admit she thought Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) might be her visitor instead, but Victoria and Cole won’t think Jordan will be resurfacing anytime soon. When Cole and Victoria express their desire for answers, Claire will wonder if those answers are magically going to change anything.

Victoria and Cole will eventually get Claire to spill her side of the story. According to Claire, Jordan started telling her that her parents abandoned her when she was five years old.

Over the years, Jordan would tell Claire how lucky she was to have a great-aunt who was willing to take her in. Jordan homeschooled Claire for her younger years and then sent her to a very strict all-girls prep school.

It was drilled into Claire that it’d be embarrassing to be rejected by the Newmans, so Jordan got her to adopt an alternative story about her parents passing away in a car accident.

Claire will admit she never saw any proof of her parentage, so Victoria and Cole will ask if she’d be willing to get a DNA test. That’ll leave Claire wondering if Cole and Victoria would help her in exchange, so Cole will suggest they could get her a good lawyer and see if maybe she can make bail.

However, Victoria will make it clear that the DNA test is a deal-breaker, so they need that before they proceed. Claire will nod in agreement as she goes along with the plan.

Back in Genoa City, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will assure a worried Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that she’s fine before trying to nap in the bedroom. Memories will haunt Nikki as she tries to sleep – and then a phone call from an unknown caller will disturb her as well.

When Nikki answers the call, she’ll hear what sounds like stripper music playing on the other end of the line. It seems Jordan will be tormenting Nikki once again while she’s on the run!

Meanwhile, Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) will stop by the ranch to speak with Victor about why Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) was fired, so Victor will accuse Nate of jumping at the chance to push him out at Newman Enterprises.

Victor will warn Devon not to trust Nate – and Nikki will say the same thing once she joins them in the living room. Devon will vow to consider their opinions before he decides whether to Nate back to Chancellor-Winters.

After Devon leaves, Nikki will admit to Victor that she struggled to nap due to bad memories, but she won’t mention the eerie phone call.

While Victor’s in the kitchen getting Nikki some tea, she’ll pour herself a glass of vodka and chug it down.

At Society, Nate will wonder what the holdup is on bringing him back to Chancellor-Winters, so he’ll grill Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and get testy with her when he learns Devon’s getting Victor’s version of events.

After Nate stomps off on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, he’ll join Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) for a drink at the GCAC and offer updates on Devon seeking Victor’s opinion.

Audra will assume Victor’s going to tank Nate’s chances of returning to Chancellor-Winters and will push Nate to stop being a martyr anyway.

Audra will think Nate’s motives were more selfish than he’s letting on when it comes to trying to oust Victor. Regardless, Audra will once again tempt Nate with the offer of joining forces.

Nate will decide to see what Lily and Devon have to say first, but he’ll tell Audra that he’s in if they don’t value family as much as him.

At Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) new place, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will want to move in sooner than planned since she’ll love her new room so much.

In a moment alone, Heather will thank Daniel for his support since the move back to GC worked out so well, but things will get awkward when Lily uses her key to get in and catches them hugging.

Lily will get the news that Lucy’s moving in early before telling Daniel about her faceoff with Nate. Once Daniel reassures Lily and pulls her into a kiss, Heather will interrupt.

After Heather sends Daniel to Lucy’s room to answer a question, Heather will hope it’s OK that Lucy’s moving in so fast. Lily will insist it’s fine before Heather says not to worry about her either.

Heather will assure Lily that she’s going to try to stay out of everyone’s way and avoid stepping on any toes.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Daniel and Heather’s bond will continue to bother Lily in the coming episodes, so stay tuned.
