The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sally Blindsides Nick with Breakup – Announces Fresh Start?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) warning will be proven right. In the aftermath of Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) baby loss, Elena pointed out that things would likely get worse for Sally before they get better.

Sally is on an emotional rollercoaster now, so it’ll take some time for her to get off it.

Y&R spoilers say Sally will through all the difficult stages of grief, so she’ll make some surprising decisions along the way.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) recently offered to let Sally move in with him, but she decided she needed some time to mull it over.

Sally went back to her GCAC suite after her hospital stay, so Nick was patient and understanding since she’s been through so much.

Of course, Nick is no doubt hoping that Sally will eventually come around on the idea of living at his place.

That could come with a whole new set of challenges that Sally isn’t really prepared for.

We can’t ignore the fact that Nick is raising Christian Newman (Alex Wilson), so how will Sally feel about being around a child so sooner after her loss?

It could be hard for Sally right now since she’ll inevitably be thinking about all the milestones that Ava Spectra missed out on.

Sally might find herself watching Christian and thinking about what Ava would be like at that age.

Is Sally prepared to essentially slide into a stepmom role? That’s what Nick will be asking of her if she’s living under the same roof with Christian, so that could scare Sally off.

Plus, Sally may find it hard to escape all the bad memories if she stays in a relationship with Nick.

The love triangle and paternity drama with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) became such a crucial part of Sally’s story with Nick, so standing by him could be a tough reminder.

At some point, Sally might decide she needs a fresh start. It’s easy to imagine Sally blindsiding Nick with a breakup and admitting it’s just too painful to stay together.

Nick may remind Sally of what she’s lost just by association with Adam and everything that played out before the tragedy.

Sally might want to cut ties with the Newmans completely and could even be tempted to leave town under the circumstances.

Nick will inevitably try to stop Sally if she pushes for a split and wants to bolt, but Sally could at least push him away for a while.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally’s sad news will lead her down a depressing path, so stick with us for updates on any negative coping strategies.
