The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that many fans have grown tired of Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) being at the center of Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) love triangle. It feels like this has been going on forever, but Sally’s just sort of spinning her wheels without a clear path forward.
Sally still hasn’t accepted Nick’s offer to move in, so she clearly isn’t all in on their future together yet.
There has to be something holding Sally back – and that something may be her feelings for Adam.
However, Sally honestly sends Adam mixed signals at times and seems confused about what she even wants.
Part of Sally may always feel something special for Adam, but that doesn’t mean they belong together after everything that’s happened.
Wouldn’t it be nice to see Sally branch out in some other storylines?
Would Sally be better off breaking free from the Newman brothers and their messed-up family?
Since Sally’s baby didn’t make it, there’s nothing tying her to the Newman clan.
It’s sad that Sally had to go through that loss, but the bright side is she can move on without any lingering Newman connection.
If Y&R eventually decides to pursue some non-Newman romantic options for Sally, who would you like to see her paired up with?
Would you be interested in a potential Sally and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) romance?
Chance is pursuing Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) at the moment, but his growing bond with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) could derail his future with Sharon at some point.
Of course, Summer and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) might ultimately find their way back to each other, so Chance could end up single again if things don’t pan out with Summer either.
If that’s the case, Chance and Sally might be a pairing that Y&R writers could try.
It’d be exciting to see something fresh and interesting for Sally – particularly something that doesn’t involve the Newmans in any way.
