The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is clearly wrestling with some complicated feelings for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Although Sally still blames Adam for costing their baby girl her future, she’s also starting to see that he experienced a huge loss, too.
Sally seemed deeply moved by Adam’s letter about their daughter, so that influenced her decision to push Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to work with Adam.
We’re seeing the first signs of Sally softening toward her ex, so those could also be the first signs of a Sally and Adam reunion as well.
This could at least be building to a shocking betrayal if Sally’s feelings keep growing stronger.
Adam certainly still has strong feelings of his own for Sally, so will Nick suffer once the former flames reignite?
Now that Sally has more sympathy for Adam, it could lead to them bonding over their loss at last.
It’s easy to imagine Adam and Sally’s messy emotions leading to some mutual bedroom comfort down the road.
Of course, it would have to wait until Sally’s fully recovered from her C-section, but that just offers more time for Sally and Adam to reconnect.
Sally still needs to realize Adam isn’t responsible for the loss of Ava Spectra, but understanding that could mean lifting the final hurdle to these two surrendering to passion.
Nick constantly defends Sally to all his loved ones, but what happens if she betrays him with Adam in the coming months?
Will Nick hold Adam at fault and kick off another round of hostility with his brother?
Y&R writers have created some major obstacles when it comes to an Adam and Sally reunion, but that doesn’t mean all hope is lost.
That’s especially true now that Sally’s harsh attitude toward Adam is becoming something more compassionate.
This could mark a turning point that leads to Sally cheating on Nick with Adam eventually.
