The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has been battling some of the typical nausea associated with early pregnancy symptoms. However, there’s one other tell-tale warning sign that soaps tend to use – one that hasn’t happened just yet.
Sally obviously knows she’s pregnant at this point since it’s been confirmed by her doctor.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are the ones in the dark on Sally’s bun in the oven, so they could use a few more clues to tip them off.
Soaps love to have a pregnant woman faint as a result of her condition, so Sally might indeed lose consciousness at some point.
It’s easy to imagine Sally collapsing in front of Adam – maybe even in his arms!
It makes sense from a writing standpoint to have Adam figure out Sally is pregnant in some shocking way.
Perhaps Adam will get the chance if he witnesses Sally’s fainting spell and comes to her rescue.
Of course, it’s possible something truly serious could cause Sally to keel over.
Most Y&R pregnancies don’t go off without a hitch, so complications could be brewing.
Sally might have a medical scare that results in her collapse and leaves her fearing for her unborn child.
Since Sally hasn’t fully wrapped her head around the baby shocker yet, maybe a crisis could help her see how much she genuinely wants to be a mother.
That’s the kind of thing that could bring Sally’s true feelings to the surface and show off her protective instincts.
Based on how great Sally is with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), we have no doubt that she’d be a wonderful mom.
Connor may have a little brother or sister on the way since Adam could potentially be the father of Sally’s kid.
If Adam comes to Sally’s rescue in a medical situation, he might unknowingly be helping his unborn child. Regardless, Adam still loves Sally and would certainly be fearful in an emergency involving her.
A scenario like this could lead to Adam pushing for updates and maybe being the first father candidate to learn Sally’s baby news.
Nick certainly won’t be happy if Adam finds out before him, but that’s exactly why Y&R writers should do it!
There’s a goldmine of drama waiting since Sally is pregnant and in a love triangle with two feuding brothers.
