The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will prove relentless when it comes to this pregnant Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) situation. Sally is carrying a Newman heir, so Victor is obviously invested in how that child will be raised.
In a perfect world, Victor would’ve rather watched Sally leave town without any ties to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) or Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Even now, Victor is worried that Sally could cause the Newman clan’s destruction.
However, Sally is expecting Adam’s baby, so Victor’s shifting his strategy and accepting that they can’t escape this Spectra’s lasting impact.
Like it or not, Sally is pregnant with Victor’s grandchild, so he has to proceed with that in mind.
Victor also knows Nick could be setting himself up for heartbreak since Sally’s carrying his brother’s kid.
It’s clear that Victor believes Adam is the better match for Sally since he’s the child’s father.
On a soap, it’s a common tale for two exes to connect over the baby they’re about to welcome to the world.
Sally and Adam have already been growing closer thanks to some pregnancy milestones, so that trend will likely continue.
Victor thinks Nick would be better off letting Sally go, but Nick will remain stubborn and cling to his own dreams of a future with Sally.
Of course, Victor is the kind of guy who doesn’t stop until he gets his way or blows everything up trying!
It looks like the week of April 24-28 will officially kick off Operation Split Up Sally and Nick.
Y&R spoilers say Victor will definitely have a few tricks up his sleeve when it comes to tearing Nick and Sally apart. Victor will resort to some shady plans and do his best to push Sally in Adam’s direction.
Nick will eventually find out about Victor’s sneaky behavior, so he’ll inevitably hurl accusations at his dad and blast him for crossing the line.
This could lead to Nick wondering if Adam is perhaps in cahoots with their father, but it seems Victor will act alone.
Even so, Nick doesn’t trust Adam and could try to plant new doubts in Sally’s mind, especially after Victor’s machinations are revealed.
Victor’s attempt to sabotage Sally and Nick’s romance could backfire if Adam faces accusations of his own.
Adam may be completely innocent in this case, but his manipulative dad could still make trouble for him and lead to bad news.
