The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may make a peace offering to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) soon and show him there’s a path forward as co-parents.
Y&R fans know Sally had a chance to talk to Adam after Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was called away to help Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier).
Since there was still some obvious awkwardness between Sally and Adam, she suggested finding a way to get past that.
Of course, spending more time together and making things less weird regarding the baby would be a nice start.
Adam may be acting a bit stalkerish and overly attentive, but that’s only because he feels out of the loop.
If Sally and Adam can have more healthy communication, it’d go a long way toward getting rid of the uncomfortable moments they’re facing.
To prove Sally’s committed to co-parenting and perhaps being friends with Adam again, she may invite him to her next baby appointment.
Adam already expressed his desire to be included in some of those if Sally was willing, but Nick voiced his concerns privately.
From Nick’s perspective, he feels like Adam will just use these appointments to pull Sally closer.
However, this is Sally and Adam’s baby, so Nick needs to start respecting some boundaries, too!
This could turn into a situation where Nick offers to take Sally to her next baby appointment and learns Adam is already going with her.
Nick may get updates on Sally’s invitation to Adam and find himself feeling shut out.
Naturally, Nick may once again voice his fears about Adam’s manipulation, but jealousy and sadness could be factors as well.
It seems like Nick isn’t fully over the fact that Sally is carrying Adam’s baby instead of his own, but he’d better start getting used to the idea.
Adam could end up by Sally’s side for her first ultrasound and many other appointments to come.
Once Sally and Adam get through this awkward barrier, they’ll inevitably find a path forward like they talked about – and that path could lead to a romantic reunion.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick may face some bad news as Adam and Sally do some baby bonding, so stay tuned.
