After all, Nick has totally pampered Sally during the pregnancy. Sally might fear that Nick is only staying because she’s pregnant, hormonal and emotional.

First, Sally was in denial that she was even pregnant. Then, she delayed going to the doctor, claiming she had work to do.
Once Sally finally accepted that she was pregnant, she had to figure out whether to keep the baby or not.
Now Sally is getting ready for parenthood but has to deal with dating Nick while being pregnant with Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) child.

Sally was concerned that Nick would abandon her once the paternity results came back.
However, Nick assured Sally that the paternity bombshell doesn’t change how he feels about her. Nick seems committed to staying by Sally’s side.
However, Sally recently had visions of two very different futures. As fans recall, one was Sally overhearing Nick and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) talking.
When Sharon asked Nick if he loved Sally, he just said that it didn’t matter.
So, Sally knows deep inside that Nick doesn’t love her. At least, that is what Sally’s subconscious is telling her.
At the same time, Sally might feel that Nick is only staying by her side until she delivers the baby.
Sally has implied that Nick’s feelings will change once the baby arrives. In one episode, Sally mentioned that she has seen how these things end before.

So, losing a baby and not telling anyone would be in line with the old Sally.
It’s true that Sally has been doing really well at staying on the right path.
However, Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) fury and the threat could push Sally back into her old ways and commit a desperate act.
