The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) may eventually decide she’s dealt with enough romantic drama for a lifetime. Since Sharon is focused on positivity and building a bright new future, she doesn’t need a love triangle dragging her down.
At this point, it seems like Sharon is cautiously keeping an eye on the Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) situation.
There’s no need to throw away this new romance with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) if friendship is genuinely all he’s looking for with Summer.
That said, Sharon is starting to pick up on Summer and Chance’s close bond.
It’s easy to see that Chance cares about Summer, so it’s just a matter of whether those feelings will go deeper – and you can bet they will!
This isn’t Sharon’s first rodeo when it comes to men who are interested in someone else, so she may decide she doesn’t want to compete – especially not at this stage of her life.
Sharon experienced an awakening after Cameron Kirsten’s (Linden Ashby) menacing arc came to an end.
It was like Sharon finally felt alive again after sleepwalking through life since Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) demise.
Now Sharon is all about working with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) on this merger, which gives her two familiar exes if the show wants to reunite “Shick” or “Shadam” down the road.
Adam is already single and Nick could be headed for single status again too if his relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) ultimately blows up.
In other words, Y&R has other options for Sharon, so the writers might let her break things off with Chance.
Sharon might dump Chance before she falls too hard and give him a push in another direction – namely Summer’s.
Perhaps Sharon will open Chance’s eyes to his growing bond with Summer and help him see that his feelings for her aren’t just platonic.
Once Chance lets go of any romantic dreams regarding Sharon, it could make him more willing to consider a future with Summer instead.
